From DIY frustration to April’s perfect website

How I helped April Julian redesign her Squarespace website to reflect her style, highlight her services, and attract the right clients.

April Julian makes cakes that look too real to eat.

April Julian creates incredibly detailed and hyper-realistic cake art that captivates the imagination and delights the senses.

The Problem

April started with a Squarespace site she built herself, but quickly hit a wall. The structure was tough to update, lacked flow, and didn't showcase her personality, style, or services. It needed better SEO and smoother navigation. Overall, it felt like a half-finished site with outdated content from an earlier version of her business.

The Challenge

April’s site needed a complete redesign in just three weeks to improve SEO, make the navigation seamless, authentically reflect her voice and style, and showcase her hyper-realistic cake artistry with engaging functionality.

Libby brought my vision to life in ways I couldn’t have done on my own. The final result is a polished, intuitive, and beautiful site that feels so me.
